It makes good use of its ability to get up those trees and regularly cuts down the coconuts which it will gather back down and usually open them up with its powerful claws. The immense coconut crab (or robber crab) is the largest terrestrial arthropod on earth, (grub 1971). Would absolutely love for these guys to be available in the u.s. I will definitely be coming back and giving them another try.
